From September 26–28, 2025, David, family, and friends of Josiah's, completed the Goggins 4x4x48 Challenge, an endurance event that tests both physical strength and mental resilience. The challenge requires participants to run 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 consecutive hours, totaling 48 miles over the course of two days.
This event held deep personal significance for Maullers Ministry Inc. In March 2021, Josiah and his friend, Max, successfully completed the very same challenge. At the time, Josiah was actively undergoing chemotherapy treatments, yet he refused to let his diagnosis define him. With incredible determination, courage, and unwavering faith, he completed every mile without hesitation, demonstrating a level of resilience that continues to inspire everyone who hears his story.
During the course of the two days, each four-mile run segment was started and finished at a place of significance in Josiah's life.
David's participation in the 2025 challenge was far more than an endurance event—it was a tribute to Josiah's extraordinary legacy and the mission of Maullers Ministry Inc. Every mile represented perseverance, hope, and the belief that even in life's most difficult moments, strength can be found through faith and purpose.
The completion of the challenge also marked a significant personal milestone for David. As he crossed the finish line of the final 4-mile run, he officially surpassed 1,000 running miles for the 2025 calendar year. Reaching this achievement during an event dedicated to honoring Josiah made the accomplishment even more meaningful, symbolizing the commitment, endurance, and dedication that continue to drive the ministry forward.
The Goggins 4x4x48 Challenge stands as a powerful reminder of Josiah's unwavering spirit and serves as an inspiration for others to persevere through adversity with faith, courage, and determination. Through this event, Maullers Ministry Inc. continues to honor his legacy while encouraging others to embrace resilience, support one another, and never give up in the face of life's greatest challenges.
