& CEO Information
David and Angie (Kissick) Mauller, are the parents of Samuel and Josiah Mauller. Throughout their loving time they were blessed to spend with Josiah, David and Angie taught both of their boys many life lessons that Josiah and Samuel carried on into their adult lives.
David and Angie met in Muncie, Indiana through church, "The Lighthouse", in 1987. Little did they know, but that is where they would later get married and begin to raise their boys starting their family together. In June of 1997, David and Angie said "I Do" and have been married, loving each other and both, Samuel and Josiah since.
David and Angie are determined to honor and remember Josiah's legacy, by encouraging others to stay mentally positive, while also improving their physical health during times of struggle. It is David and Angie's desire to assist others, and their families, just as other strangers assisted them and their family during Josiah's time of struggle undergoing various medical treatments.
David Mauller, Josiah's father, was born in Great Falls, Montana. During David's younger years, his family moved to Selma, Indiana. David joined the United States Marine Corp at the age of 18 after graduating from Wapahani High School. After his tour of duty with the USMC, David transitioned branches and joined The United States Army, Indiana National Guard.
During David's time of service, he served on multiple deployments overseas after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. After actively serving with the Indiana National Guard, a total of 35 years of service, David transitioned to the Individual Ready Reserves to finish out his last two years before he will officially retire from his military service in late 2028.
After experiencing Josiah's struggle, David was encouraged to improve his own physical health and to this day works out constantly. David took it upon himself to build a home gym and that is where he now spends much of his free time.
As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maullers Ministry Inc., David provides strategic leadership and direction to advance the organization's mission and vision. He leads by example, fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and servant leadership. By encouraging open communication and valuing the ideas and perspectives of fellow board members, David works to strengthen the foundation of the organization while ensuring its core values and mission remain at the forefront of every decision. His commitment to excellence helps guide Maullers Ministry Inc. in serving the community with compassion, purpose, and accountability.
Angie (Kissick) Mauller, Josiah's mother, was born in Muncie, Indiana and has been a life-long resident of the Delaware County area. Today Angie is the sole owner-operator of "Renewed Designs" located in Muncie. Angie has always had a love and passion for women's fashion, clothing, jewelry, and more.
For much of Josiah and Samuel's childhood, Angie and the boys spent a lot of time together due to David serving in the United States Military. One of Angie's fondest memories of Josiah during his younger years is of her, Josiah, and Samuel going to the movies often and sharing moments of joy filled with laughs at the local Pizza King.
Angie always encouraged Josiah and Samuel both to always follow their heart and taught them both how to build their faith so they could have a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
Angie became determined and encouraged by hers and Josiah's conversations during their time together spent at MD Anderson, Houston, Texas. Today Angie finds herself remembering Josiah in many things that she does. Angie also participates with David during some work outs while finding peace and joy in going on bike rides and walks through the county roads close to home.
As an Advisor for Maullers Ministry Inc., Angie plays an integral role in supporting the organization's mission and long-term vision. Working closely with David and Samuel, she provides guidance on day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and organizational growth.
Angie's passion for the ministry is reflected in her commitment to raising awareness of its mission through social media, community engagement, her place of business, and personal connections. She is dedicated to sharing the story of Josiah's life and legacy, as well as the hope and strength she has found through her own journey of loss. Through her testimony, Angie inspires others to find faith, purpose, and healing while ensuring that Josiah's legacy continues to impact lives for generations to come.
